The History Of the Cryo evolution

We started doing cryo back in 1996 that's 18 years ago, with the original cryo jet which was called a Co2 Nozzle. In the late 1990's to early 2000's if you wanted Cryo effects in Florida you went to Sigma services or Zigmont. Back then we need to explain the term "CRYO". I would say I on Phase 10 of the co2 jet for my 18 years .

The first cryo effect was designed for Disney in 1993 by Sigma Services for Disney pleasure island clubs. This was an exclusive for a while then Sigma marketed them. Then after a while Sigma services stamped other FX Brands on the sigma label and then we has 3 Special effects Brands selling the same jet.

Sigma Services came out with a new model and others started to market their own cyro jet. Global Special effects and Zigmont Magic FX Design the biggest volume model. No one has copy it as we hold the solenoid design.

The other's used solenoids used in refrigeration but not necessarily good for the instant on and off that the effect requires and the result is frozen on - frozen off or leaking jets.

Today their about a dozen brands of cyro jets, Disney and Zigmont Magic FX Tested the top 8 brands and got the top 5 rated. Disney uses the top 3 brands

Then we have the Chinese Model's after market that have no regard for design and use Inferior parts, and are bad copy cats.

While china can build to spec very well for Brands that American design and made in china. They have copied Hansons Prosystems and the side by side comparison is a selling tool to buy the Hanson Cryo jet model.
